Intelligent Design
This year, four of Yale University Press’s art & architecture books have been honored by the Association of American University Presses (AAUP)’s Book, Jacket, and Journal Show, tying with the number of YUP art & architecture books featured in last year’s AAUP Show.
Judging for the 2012 AAUP Book, Jacket and Journal Show took place January 26-27 at the AAUP Central Office in New York City. Approximately 226 books, 300 jacket and cover design entries, and 4 journals were entered. 49 books, 1 journal, and 30 jackets/covers were chosen by the jurors as the very best examples from this assemblage of excellent design.
Congratulations to the book designers, to our publishing partners, and to the editorial, design and production teams here at YUP for being singled out by the AAUP for their outstanding design work! Congratulations, too, to all of the other publishers whose excellent work is recognized by the Book, Jacket and Journal Show!
