Without a doubt, last week was a difficult one for the newspaper industry. With the Tribune Company filing for bankruptcy, the Miami Herald up for sale, and even the vaunted New York Times taking out a $225 million loan against its new Manhattan offices, it’s hard to imagine what the future will bring.
