For All There Is to Know

About New York, of course. Updated after 15 years, The Encyclopedia of New York City: Second Edition has been published with over 5000 entries and 700 illustrations of the Big Apple.

Editor Kenneth Jackson sat down with Gothamist.com to talk about the remaking of the Second Encyclopedia of New York City, Second Edition Edition, how the city has changed since the book’s first publication in 1995, and his favorite parts about New York. Meanwhile, executive editor, Lisa Keller, has appeared on WNYC’s Brian Lehrer Show to talk about the 800 new entries added for the second edition.

It’s a gift to anyone who has ever lived in or dreamed of New York, and the best part is: the bigger, 1600-page updated edition, is the same $65 price as the original.
